What do the Accused Boston Marathon Bombers have in common with a Sri Lankan teenager who wanted to be a nun, a Tunisian honors student, and a Norwegian who wanted to be a physician?

Preventing "home grown" terrorism starts  with understanding why and how young people all over the world are becoming radicalized, recruited, and convinced that the best way to a meaningful life is through violence.

The war on terror can never be won with guns, but rather by understanding the forces that drive an individual to become a terrorist and then constructively addressing those forces.
